Born and raised in Louisville, Colorado, Mrs. Bugarin always loved to learn and help others- which sprung forth her dream to work in education. After high school, she attended the University of Northern Colorado (UNC) and earned her Bachelor of Science in Mathematics with a minor in sociology as well as a 7-12 teaching endorsement. From there, she accepted her first job at Eagle Ridge Academy in 2011 and has found a home here ever since.
While teaching various math classes and helping coach volleyball, Mrs. Bugarin pursued her Master of Arts in Educational Psychology also through UNC. In 2017, she became the Dean of Student Success, inspiring her to pursue her Principal's license. She completed a licensure program through BOCES and became the Assistant Principal in 2019. She still enjoys connecting with the students through the Link Crew program and tutoring math after school.
Outside of Eagle Ridge, Mrs. Bugarin can be found spending time with her family and friends enjoying the outdoors or striking her competitive edge on the golf course and softball field. She loves watching her baby girl grow up and achieve different milestones.
