If your student failed one or more classes this year, then they will need to partake in summer school in order to make up the credit(s).  

 

Summer School Dates:  June 3rd through June 27th, 2025 

 

Registration: The registration form will be emailed to your student on Thursday, May 22nd at 8:00 a.m., and will close on May 28th at 3:00 p.m.  It will provide a link where they can sign up. The link will also be on our main school website.

 

Orientation - June 3rd at 8:00 a.m. (In-person)  - Virtual if needed (link will be sent out by Ms. Hertz)

 

Format: 

    • Online via Edmentum
    • In-person help will be available Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
  • There might be a 2nd summer school option in the district that will be in-person. We will keep families updated!

 

Important Information:

  • Cost per class:  $120 per class
  • Students can only take one class at a time and MUST pay the fee before starting the class.
  • Students must start the class within 3 days of the start date or else they will be dropped and still charged for the class.
  • Students can pay for their first class in person on June 3rd or pay online via Infinite Campus (parent or student portal)
  • Students will work on the course(es) during their own time online.
  • The final exams for the courses MUST BE taken in person with the summer school teacher. 
  • You cannot use the Safari browser

Frequently asked questions.

  • When does summer school start?
      1. Summer school will start June 3rd, and go through June 27th. 
  • Do I need to come in person?
      1. In-person help will be available Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.  as needed 
      2. You MUST come in-person to take your final on Tuesday or Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.  You MUST show up for your final by 1:00 p.m. to take it that day.
  • Which classes do I need to make up?
      1. Core classes (Math, Science, English, Social Studies) and Warrior Time
  • How many classes can I do at a time?
      1. One. We would like you to focus your efforts on one course at a time. Once you finish a course, the summer school instructor can work with you to add your next course.
      2. Students are usually able to finish up to two courses during summer school. 
  • What if I have a question on Friday through Monday?
      1. You may email your Summer School Instructor: Ms. Hertz ([email protected]) 
      2. Ms. Hertz will respond to all questions sent on Friday through Monday by the end of day on Tuesday. 
  • What if I have a question on Wednesday?
      1. You may email your Summer School Instructor: Ms. Hertz ([email protected]) 
      2. Ms. Hertz will respond to all questions sent on Wednesday by the end of the day on Thursday. 
  • What happens if I do not finish by June 27th? 
    1. If you do not finish your class/es by June 27th, then your counselor will be in touch with you in the fall for next steps. One option would be to put you in Academic Success to finish your courses. (Seniors and Juniors get priority)
