This course covers the foundations of Physics, Chemistry, and Earth Science. Major topics covered in this course will include forces, motion, atomic structure, chemical reactions, geology, meteorology, and astronomy. The goal of this course is to help students develop foundational knowledge and skills that will contribute to their understanding of the dynamic systems that make up our world, and the ways the disciplines listed above make our modern technological achievements possible. In addition, this course will strengthen students’ abilities to apply scientific thinking and problem solving to explain the natural world.
