Course Description
Students examine art history and develop art making skills in the context of historical art. In fall semester students learn pre-history to the renaissance and in the spring they explore post-renaissance to post-modernism. Students make both 2D and 3D works of art on various subjects in order to understand the construction, symbolism, aesthetic, and impact art has made on our world.
