Guitar
Course Description
This class is designed for the beginning guitar student. During the semester, students will use their own guitar and learn to identify the parts of the guitar, learn to tune their guitar, learn to read music, and understand the elements of music. Students will also learn proper music techniques including posture and hand position, as well as to perform individually and with a group. The class will culminate with a concert and performance is required.
