About:

Mr. Montesano, AKA Mr. Monty, began teaching high school English at Miami High in Miami, FL back in 2005.

When he’s not teaching, he’s usually working on his teen novel series or spending time with his guitar, better half, and dog.

 

While always a teacher, he’s also written for local newspapers, and has dedicated himself to writing novels for teens that can’t seem to make a connection with the written word, offering them, and everyone else, the purest form of escapism: a story that takes place in a parallel universe on the other side of “this” galaxy.

 

He also cannot get enough of his guitar. Hence, he’s the Guitar Club advisor hoping to turn more on to the idea of turning their amp up to 11.
