About:
I am originally from the Chicago area and enjoyed a long teaching career in the Chicago Public School system. I have a Bachelor’s degree in history and sociology from Western Illinois University and a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Olivet Nazarene University. Additionally, I am a National Board Certified Teacher. When I am not teaching I am spending time with family. My husband and I have two great kids and three happy grandsons. I love running, skiing or really doing anything outdoors.
