About:
I am Mrs. Terlizzi, but most of the kiddos I have worked with over the years call me Miss Becky. I live in Lochbuie, CO, we moved to Colorado for family in 2012 and love it.
I live with my husband, two children (Hailey & Tyler), two dogs (Jasmine & Mikey), and fourteen chickens(give or take). In our free time we enjoy gardening, building furniture, using my laser to make projects, paddle boarding, boating, camping, and enjoying the beautiful outdoors Colorado has to offer.
I have been a part of the Brighton Charter Schools since 2013. Most of that has been working at Eagle Ridge Academy. I have worked as a Special Education Para, Kindergarten Teacher, Technology Teacher, in-house substitute, stand-in Spanish Teacher, Night Custodian, E-Sports Coach, Gifted & Talented Leader, EL Coordinator and Special Education Teacher. Phew! That seems like a lot when you type it out.
I hold a dual license in Special Education and Elementary Education, a Bachelor’s degree in Special Education, and a Master’s of Education in Learning Design and Technology Integration, In 2020 I finished my second Master's in English Language Learning. Currently. In 2021, I completed my Board Certification in Special Education and Advocacy Program for Special Education and started my National Board certification. I love helping everyone find a way to learn and understand what works for them, it is one of the reasons I am always finding ways to expand my education.
