Megan Grimm

Biography
My name is Megan Grimm and I am the in-house substitute teacher at Eagle Ridge Academy High School. I have a background in Fine Arts and a passion for creating meaningful connections with students through creativity, curiosity, and learning. I am a certified K–12 Visual Arts teacher as well as a certified substitute teacher. I enjoy the opportunity to support students and teachers throughout our school community in a variety of classrooms and learning environments. I also serve as the National Art Honor Society Sponsor, where I get to support students in developing their artistic interests, celebrating their creativity, and finding ways to use art to connect with and contribute to our community in Brighton. Art has always been an important part of my life, both professionally and personally, and I love making art, exploring new creative ideas, and encouraging students to find their own unique ways of expressing themselves. Outside of school, I enjoy practicing and teaching yoga, spending time in nature, paddle boarding, traveling, and learning about different cultures. I have traveled to Nepal six times and continue to feel deeply connected to its people, culture, mountains, and spirituality. I am from Colorado, raised in a small town as a fourth-generation member of a farming family. Growing up surrounded by agriculture, animals, and open spaces gave me a deep appreciation for nature and a love for being around animals that I still carry with me today. I feel grateful to be part of the Eagle Ridge Academy community and look forward to supporting our students and community throughout the year.
