Lori Jones
Biography
I teach Algebra 2, AP Precalculus, Calculus, and also serve on the Instructional Leadership Team. My first career was as a network administrator, but I started my career in education in 2009 when I became an aide in my childrens' school, and realized that I wanted to be a teacher! I went back to school in my 40s and have enjoyed a varied career, teaching math from 7th grade through AP Calculus in Wyoming and Colorado. I was a math instructional coach for several years as well, but realized I missed the kids too much, so I'm back in the classroom to finish out my career. I have found my home at Eagle Ridge and I'm so happy to be here!
I have three grown children, one grandson, and two dogs that keep me company now that my kids have left the nest. In my spare time, I like to craft, read, play games (all kinds), and hang out with my bestie (who is also a math teacher and my niece).
