Jordyn Etling

Biography
I grew up in Kent, Ohio, and attended the University of Akron, where I earned both my bachelor’s degree in Multidisciplinary Studies and my master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction. In 2022, I traded the Midwest for the mountains and made the move to Colorado.
As an educator, I am passionate about creating meaningful learning experiences that challenge students to think critically, make connections, and develop confidence in their own voices. I believe the classroom should be a place where students feel supported while being encouraged to take risks, ask questions, and grow as both learners and individuals.
Outside of the classroom, I enjoy reading, writing, video games, traveling, exploring Colorado, and taking my dogs, Link and Flint, anywhere I can.
Classes I Teach: AP English Language and Composition (10th-12th), American Literature (11th), Introduction to Literature (9th)
