Biography

With fourteen years of experience in public education, I am thrilled to be a part of the Eagle Ridge Academy community. My teaching journey began in elementary education in Rio Rancho and my hometown of Albuquerque, New Mexico. While I loved those early years, I quickly discovered that my true passion lies in working with high school students. I have spent the vast majority of my career supporting, guiding, and learning alongside teenagers.

Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of teaching in California as well as here in Colorado, including time at Bill Reed Middle School and Loveland High School. However, Colorado has always felt like home. I was delighted to return to the area last year and put down roots right here in Brighton.

While I am working with students, I am dedicated to helping high schoolers discover their strengths, build confidence, and prepare for their futures. Beyond my passion for teaching, you can usually find me outdoors enjoying everything Colorado has to offer or catching the latest films at the movie theater.
